. . . l`ve been a photographer for many years and have a passion for portraiture.

A Yorkshireman by birth and old enough to know better,but hey! you only get one shot at this life so my philosophy is `enjoy it`.

I now live in the West of Scotland, with the Highlands and the Clyde Coast readily accessible, both of which are a photographers paradise.

Whilst photography dominates my life, l also enjoy hill walking and cycling, with music, theatre and reading filling any other spare time.

Objectives . . .

. . . l am constantly aiming to improve the overall standard of my photography, both in the darkroom and digitally.  The latter proving a stimulating experience with its creative possibilities, although l have barely scratched the surface.

A panel of work is slowly appearing which l hope will be the basis for an exhibition of monochrome portrait images.  The theme of which is as yet undecided.
